Is their a way for me to keep my speed above 100 kbps and still have a ping below 100ms in bf2?
You could try turning lowering (or turning off) your upload speeds.
Are you talking about upload speed or download speed?
Your upload speed is usually the bottleneck so limiting it is the best way to make room for BF2. Limiting your upload speed might slow your download speed but maybe not too much.
Edit: Nuts, beaten by a full two minutes. I'm getting slow at this.

Yeah... lower the amount of simultaneous connections.
QoS through your router
put your upload at 10, my ping stays down if its at that all the time, even if im downloading at 1 meg/s.
