Well, here's a nice panoramic xray of my mouth. Damn you, wisdom teeth. Oh God, the pain.

On my Left side, one tooth is coming up from under another, and pushing against it.
Labled on the picture:
1 -- Wisdom teeth
2 -- Baby teeth that were never replaced by adult teeth
3 -- Nerves under Wisdom teeth

So yeah, I have surgery planned for mid-January. Get those damn things removed. I'm going to put on all these medications and whatnot. Going to be a blast.

Those two baby teeth will eventually fall out, and I'll either have to get fake ones put in, or have the other teeth pushed forward.

But, nice things, as you can clearly see:
1 -- I have no cavities (Age 17).
2 -- Xrays can be scanned to a computer using a scanner.

Wish me luck with the surgery.

I'm lucky, my wisdom teeth haven't been anoying so far (18 now) and there almost fully through.

I had my wisdom teeth removed right before I went into the corps ............................... that shit sucked, I was throwing up blood after the surgury and the next day ...... the pain sucked and the meds did nothing to ease the pain

I had mine cut out when I was 17 I think. I must have had a very good dentist since he had one out and was working on the second when I asked him when he was going to start. Hardly no swelling and a script of some good pain pills. Hope yours goes as well as mine did.

I had a cap that fell out when I was like 19 I think it was and a tooth grew back in. So after your baby teeth fall out you should grow one fast in its place.

You poor person. I have managed to clear plenty of space for my wisdom teeth through a series of bike accidents shattering my molars.

But, frankly, you want pain, try living with a slightly loose and infected tooth. Or a sharp edge constantly gouging a hole in your gum with a broken filling leeching mercury and lead into your jawbone.

good luck man. it's painful for a few days but they give you medicine for that. just get those 2 baby teeth knocked out and the wisdom teeth will move in fine (from the looks of it at least). But, if you don't want the hassle later on just get them all out. Those holes in your gums will be fun to play with and to clean.

Be sure to ask for those teeth so you can get your $0.50.

It's a cardinal rule that whenever you get something removed surgically, you have to at least ask if you can have it. Keeping it in a jar, however, is optional.

Yes, except, adult teeth never formed under the baby teeth, so there was never anything to push them up. You see, you lose a baby tooth when an adult tooth grows up from under it. When you lose a tooth, a tooth dosen't automatically grow and take it's place. Unless you're a shark. Call me a freak of nature.

Haven't experienced any real issues with my Wisdom teeth yet (16). I have had some issues with my two front teeth though. This is the last set, and I've been unlucky. It's pretty rare, but I am on my 3rd set of real front two teeth - so if these get broken, it's false or no tooth at all for me!
