A few weeks ago I ended up drinking with some USAF types in town, they'd just finished a 3 month stint in Antarctica (The US Antarctic programme has a base here), and were being given a 1 month holiday at a posh resort afterwards. Your government looks after USAF personell, you should join the air force.

Well I was stationed in Hawaii, so I stayed in paradise every weekend and weeknight.
