Basically. DVD Drive = Blown up (on the fucking day I receive CoD4 in the mail, what the fuck)

What I do have is a pretty decent Laptop and 1GB of USB. You should get the drift by now.

Is it possible to:

Make an ISO image out of the DVD or something
Split it up into 1GB .rar or .zip chunks or something
Transfer it to my computer using said USB key (long process, but better than downloading)
Unzip it so I get the original ISO image

I know it's possible as I always see things on rapidshare as 100MB chunks and then you extract it and then it's one file, but how do I do it?

Use Winrar, it has a split option. Make it split into 1 073 741 824 byte chunks...

edit: probably less, since the USB stick probably doesn't have an entire gig of rAM...

Just do a torrent download, host it with demon tools or something similar and  use your CD key from the original game to install. Guess that is way faster than all that ISO splitting story if you have no clue how to do it.

Where is the split option?

I just made a small archive with random files just so I can get the hang of it, then I'll do it on the laptop
