Think he got them inducted into the league of nations or UN. Not sure. That was a big reason why WW2 started anyway.FatherTed wrote:

Well a lot of their greatness today is due to the loans they got after ww2 to build theire country up again.
They had like the most advanced industrie of everything for like a few decades? I don't know if hitler did much good than just make a war, lose and get loans.
Boost to automobile industry, and therefore BMW, Audi, Mercedes, VW - Hitlers idea
Boost to manufacturing industry (albeit through demand due to militarisation) - caused by Hitler
Reduction in unemployment - Started circa mid 1920's, sorted out by NSDAP regime
Improved economy - Started circa mid 1920's, sorted out by NSDAP regime

I don't get why anyone would be stunned by this. It seems right on the money, and anyone denouncing this as nazism is an idiot. Pure and simple.
Sensationalist idiocy by people who can read words but not understand them.
Hitler was an asshole, and probably a fucking psychopath.
But most likely he wasn't sitting in his seat of power thinking "These idiots actually belive this crap about the jews! I'm totally getting away with killing innocent people....Fuck yeah!"
In his brain he saw evil and was trying to stop it. What he did was not good, and the fact that his head was twisted doesn't make him a good guy...but perhaps in his own view he wasn't a malicious guy. Wars have to be fought and people die in them, but "its for the greater good"
The discussion isn't weather what he did was right or wrong....rather the motivation behind it.

No, Hitler could've gone about making his perfect race without mass murder! Frankly, he could've made a country with his perfect race, isolated himself from the rest of the world and lived with his perfect race.blademaster wrote:
Well what if I thought, oh yeah I should kill all of the Americans because I think its a good thing to do its a right thing to do in my mind. Well according to my logic it would be fine but according to ethics and morality its wrong. Same applies to Hitler it was wrong what he did not matter which way you look at it.Cyrax-Sektor wrote:

I never said what Hitler did was right. It was downright rotten.
And he was a complete idiot. He was brown hair, brown eyes, yet he viewed blond hair and blue eyes as the superior race.
Just something i wanted to throw in, originally Hitler had planned to simply ship all the Jews, other minorities, political opponants etc, to Madagascar.

Go around and ask the world that they have never heard of.

Interesting method of reporting. Declaring that "Will Smith has stunned the world" is an unethical way of reporting. One simply cannot fabricate your story in that method, by attempting to create outrage. Naturally, this is completely normal in the media, so I am not surprised. Neither is the second sentence any different, by forcibly describing Smith's words in a summary of dubious quality.blademaster wrote:
Will Smith has stunned the world by declaring that even Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler was essentially a "good" person.
The Men In Black star, 39, is determined to see the best in people, and is convinced the former German leader did not fully understand the extent of the pain and suffering his actions would cause during his time in power in the 1930s and '40s.
He says, "Even Hitler didn't wake up going, 'Let me do the most evil thing I can do today'.
"I think he woke up in the morning and using a twisted, backwards logic, he set out to do what he thought was 'good'. Stuff like that just needs reprogramming."
Hitler's totalitarian leadership as Fuhrer during 1934 until his eventual suicide in 1945 resulted in the persecution of an estimated six million Jews in the Holocaust, and his invasion of Poland in 1939 led to the start of the Second World War.

As far as I can see, Smith said only three sentences, none of which necessarily match up with what this writer has said. I would petition the editor to be mindful of this journalism.
