What's wrong with people? Ok, my bad, what's wrong with some people? Bigots are everywhere. And of course DST isn't the exception. But what's a bigot? From the Merriam-Webster's: A person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance.
From DST:
On the issue of armed civilians and guerrilla tactics:
[Serge] 'People can make the difference.'
[DST Regular] 'Only in third world dirtholes like the one you live in.'
On the issue of the tiger shot dead at SF zoo:
[DST Casual] 'um no recon. fail. not true, and learn to spell plz.
and, um no, for the rest of the idiots. I AM AT THE TOP OF THE FOOD CHAIN! I WILL NOT LOWER MYSELF. EVER.
edit: and FAIL! for serge yet again, deal with the news in your country, discuss your third world bullshit, before discussing ours, plezkthxbye.'
Now, the first one, argued that he was being sarcastic. Nevertheless, that is not the way to address a statement like mine. The second one, a guy who I don't know, landed with his parachute on the thread just to bash Recondo67 because of a spelling mistake. Another spelling nazi. Then, he called everyone an idiot, apparently he's not. Then he asked me in a polite way not to discuss American issues. I don't think the death of Tatiana the tiger is an American issue, but whatever. Even, if the thread was an America related one, is this the way to discuss things? We all know that it isn't.
I know my country isn't perfect, and that we have some problems. But, hey shit happens everywhere. I won't discuss if Argentina is 1st, 3rd or 9th world, I don't care. I know what it is. And it's not relevant to the thread. The point is, when people have no arguments they choose to attack you instead of addressing your statement. I know I always discuss American issues, but I always do it with respect. I was criticized for asking a question about the 2nd Amendment. If I make a question is because I want to learn from guys who know more on the subject than me. That's not bashing America. Criticizing Bush is not bashing America. Hey, according to marine I'm a Clinton fanboy.
Oh, and Ironchef I saw your little poll, that will cost you buddy. j/k You know I love you, even when you are a liberal gun lover religious nutjob.
