So given only the following two options, would you rather:

A) Undefeated regular season, lose in the playoffs.
B) Lose to the Giants on Saturday night, but win the Super Bowl.

I can go either way. They're already got 3 rings in recent years, but how often does a team go 16-0 in the regular season? That's right, never. But then again, the whole point is to win the super bowl so your win/loss for the regular season doesn't matter if you can accomplish that. Undefeated in the regular season would look nice on the record books to go along with all of their other accomplishments that have made them a dynasty.

All that being said, I expect them to win Saturday, and end up 19-0 for the season. Added bonus: that would make Mercury Morris shut the fuck up.

And no one is saying that the Patriots aren't good. All the steroid shooting Baseball players are probably good drug free as well. The fact is when you get busted for cheating, irrelevant of the impact, you will have a tarnished record.

In most other sports I would say 'B', at the end of the day its about winning the league.

But seeing how this is the NFL and how its a completely stat-orientated sport (zomg he is the 4th player in nfl history to rush for 2000+yards a season etc.) I would say 'A' would be preferable to confirm this team as a dynasty beyond any doubt.

Yep. And I'm a jets fan! And they didn't even cheat, they filmed the game, not the coaches. The Pats and Bill Belicheat filmed the coaching signals. And that's been proven, but of course the pathetic Patriots fans will do anything to take the blame off of them.

Do you honestly think that the Patriotss, out of the blue decided to randomly start taping signals all by themselves?

And even if they are the first (they aren't, I can assure you), they were caught in WEEK ONE. They aren't going to go and tape more games after that and further penalize themselves. They're the best team in the NFL right now, and they're doing it through incredible plays, great coaching, and an amazing team chemistry. Watch how they play, not just sit at the TV yelling "ASTERISK!!! ASTERISK!!! CHEATRIOTS!!!"

What would be an awesome game would be if the Giants beat the Pats on Saturday night then they re-match in the Superbowl. Just for the set-up it would be a great game.
