Wrong:

The fact that most (not all) americans havn't got the slightest clue about geography and other countries.

For instance:

and when I was in New York a lady asked me where I was from (she thought Russia or Belarus, when she heard me). I told her that I lived in the Netherlands. She knew it was in Europe cause her sister lived in Switserland. "But Switserland is a little country in the north of europe, more north then the Netherlands, cause they have snow and mountains"... sigh.

Another thing: Hypocrism. When I watched TV in the US I saw this guy who got hit by a train. You could see how his brains or whatever it was were thrown all around and his leg flew a few feet away... So this guy who taped it says "holy shit" and all you heard was "holy *peep*". hahaha.

While we're on the subject of clues, I'd like to point out that despite all appearances, 'hypocrism' is not a word.

But it is when you realize that he's making fun of foreign lack of clues.

It's not my first language (my mothertongue is dutch), and my english is just as bad as my german and french but at least you get the point.

And no. I have no idea what's so funny.. so I can't be bothered.

Maybe I can go watch TV in the Netherlands to get a complete picture of your culture.

That's why I wrote "for instance".

But you don't need to watch dutch TV to know our culture.
This movie sums it all up

Allthough it doesn't say anything about legal drugs, prostitution and gay marriages.

You don't water down the ol' acerbic wit, do ya...

It might as well be a word. Hypocrisy that reaches a saturation point, congeals on surfaces and makes them sticky: Hypocrism.

I suppose I should reciprocate with some good ol' US culture:

1. Never.
2. The word 'hypocrisy' itself covers that. Also, let me know when you think Democrism should be a word.

THE RIGHT

This pizza delivery guy dispatched 2 would be robbers, one on foot, the other to hell. He had a permit to conceal carry, in another state however. No matter, chalk one up for the good guys, because there is at least one piece of shit that the taxpayers will not have to support and another that will probably never try to rob anyone else.

umm.. yeah that isn't really right.

firstly.

were the robbers murderers? no.
did one deserve to die for robbing? no.

secondly.

maybe the fact that there was something in America that led these 2 men to be robbers might be 'a WRONG' in the first place. killing one of them didn't actually fix that particular problem did it?

what if one of them was your son? what if he was a victim of circumstance? do you really feel all that good about killing someone who doesn't really deserve to be killed?
If you threaten bodily harm on a person, and you get bodily harmed first, I promise you, you will get no sympathy from me nor a second thought.

Yes there is circumstances that led to these robbers doing wrong, it is called a lack of personal responsibility. In America, you are FREE to choose to exercise it or not. There are rewards and consequences established for your decisions.

I am not worried about my sons choices, at 10 and 11 I will match my sons morality, personal responsibility and decisions against most adults I know.

No I do not condone killing anyone that does not deserve it, however, anyone that plays dangerous games sometimes will pay for it. Anyone who threatens to harm or kill another in the commitment of a crime I hope gets killed first, because they deserve it. Period
Or if they are running away. Your just for kill 'em all eh?

Let's call it a word, but then I insist on calling GWB a Republicantically elected president
