When I got the Colonel rank in Call of Duty 4 I knew something looked weird. So I checked Battlefield 2's colonel. And sure enough, they are different! The head is pointing the other way in each of them.

Google shows both are used. Kinda weird. And h4hagen, I doubt the badge has the same appearance on the back as it does on the front.

It's the yank version of colonel and according to wikipedia BF2 screwed up. But I think CoD screwed up with the M16 as they put something on the otherside, forgot what it was. It's near the rear sight. Some knob thing

However, on the Army's Uniform, in which just one rank insignia is worn in the middle of the chest, the head faces to the Left.
