Price: 35 Euro's, so somewhat around the 50 dollars I'd say, it is really comfortable, great base, and you can remove the microphone from the headset itself if you don't need to use it or something, which is pretty handy for me
I heard sennheiser were good.
I've got those, won them in a contest. Good sound, both output and input and it even works on PC's without any soundcard. It's serious overkill though and if you're going to use it with a webcam on MSN you'll look ridicilous(T)eflon(S)hadow wrote:

On the ear, pretty light. Comfortable for hours, but the sound range, bass and "surround" sound are amazing. Mic is DSP noise canceling, great for Vent or Voip, plus it rotates up if not in use. Volume on cord and mute that lights up if muted and a long USB cord.
just found this... I paid $75-80... now a lot less... naturally. http://www.headsetexperts.com/Plantroni … _Pro_1.htm

I wouldn't spend that much on a headset and, assuming that you have a soundcard with a frontport, I suggest you buy a cheap set with you can plug into those ports rather than a digital processing USB set. If you insist on an expensive set; Plantronics is an excellent though somewhat expensive choice. Their equipement looks (emphasize "looks") a bit tacky (the housing etc.) but its top-end quality.
