This is driving me mad. I cant freaking seem to make a copy of info from recovery manager on a HP computer-dv6000 pavilion.

Everything goes ok to start with, I start it up and it informs me that 2 DVD´s are needed to fit the data on. Ok, I press next and insert a DVD and it copies all of the necessary data. It starts burning it to the discs and everything is alright. Then comes the shit. It starts to verify the discs for errors and 10 min later it says that a error came and it advises me to use some better discs. It also says put a fresh disc in.. Hmm this is high quality discs from Fuji and they are perfect. No scratches or anything.

So I put a new disc in but the weird thing is that now its checking it to see if it has the data on-Its a freaking new disc you crappy system. YOU NEED TO BURN AGAIN!!!!So I stop and use a new disc again. Same procedure and when it comes to the verifying, it stops at 0 % and keeps there for 20 min. I almost cant do anything. I can move the mouse around but I cant cancel the recovery manager. 5 secs on power switch-GOODBYE- Of course its boots with a system 32 error because of the illegal shut down and it says so. It gets in and works normally but I wont bother doing all the crap again today. Am I just unlucky or whats the reason for this hell?

nope, its past hours and e-mail is not working properly. Should I just forget about the damn recovery manager and hope the partition on the HDD will survive for ever?

Well, sorry I can't help more but I would say just try to hold out until you can try to get in contact with them tomorrow. Unless you can take it somewhere and have it looked at.

hmm, could it be the disc drive going past 16x speed? The DVD only handles 16x
