As for me, I don't think it necessarily stops him from being elected, but I think it will be extremely difficult for him. I mean, if a Christian can be president, why not him then?

If I was an American it would certainly make me think twice about voting for him. Mormonism for me is bordering on crazy cult status. In the same way I wouldn't vote for a Scientologist or an Evangelical Christian.

I hope to God that his religious affiliation isn't a deciding factor, or for anyone for that matter. I really wish that we got no information about the candidate except for their policy views. Religion, race, gender shouldn't play a role in the election.
