My car is like 6 years old (it's a 2001 Lexus GS300) and I want a new car but this one still rides smooth as butter and I just can't see dropping 60 grand that I don't have to. I'm not about to buy something on which I have to make payments (I always pay cash for cars, and usually buy one a year or a year and a half old so I don't take that drive-off-the-lot hickey).

I have thought about going Caddy (I am now 40 after all), I've thought about nutting up for the $100k Tesla, and I've thought about keeping my car 'til the wheels fall off, but in the long run I'll probably get a bad case of new car fever, fret over the BMW 5 series (loved both my BMWs), and finally chicken out and just upgrade to a silver GS450, pissing away the 60k. Damnit...
