I was playing Leviathan tonight and noticed that the victory music for the SEALs is the Marine Corps Hymn. Wha?? Shouldn't it be Anchors Away? That is the Navy's song, after all.

Just a random thing I noticed.

Nope, the Air Force song was not being played:)

Remember, the Air Force kicks the door in so the devil dogs can sweep in and take the land.  Then the Army holds the real estate.

not beeing in the military myself, but having lived on a base for a while (civilian contractor) I must say it is quite funny to watch the streets at specific times, you can almost picture the people running arround screaming

"the song is comming, the song is comming!  Quick take cover, lest you be stuck at attention in the freezing rain for the next 5 min.  Run, RUN!"

What you observed was a disgrace and did not reflect the true military professional.  I was stationed in North Dakota for 13 years and regardless of weather I rendered honors when "To the Colors" and the "National Anthem" was played to signify the end of the duty day.

I expected that you stood when the Anthem was played as a sign of respect though, correct?

I will stop my truck when the music starts. The people behind me can go around or learn some respect.

Why even bother with this post?? If a few servicemen and others want to have a forum conversation about Colors, let them. Or, at least add something constructive, which you failed to do.

Respect for your nation's/ service's flag and anthem isn't a boring topic to some. Man, the anonymous factors of the Internet sure breeds some turds.

Bombing is my department.  We hit the first blow in Iraq this time with a B-1B strike on Saddam's house .  Come to think of it, a B-52 out of Barksdale AFB, LA launched the first strike during Desert Storm with conventional ALCMs timed to hit just before the F-117s did.  Man, I miss those SAC days!!

I feel the same as you do dude when I hear "O, CANADA".  How do those non-battleborne lyrics go again?  "O, Canada, the land the Brits forgot...?"

Man, talk about a bi-polar country that has to defend its heritage by limiting the number of US shows that can be shown on TV.  Thats why you see "Star Trek" so much on the CBC because Captain Kirk is Canadian!

dont worry, hes some douche from quebec wishing he was french. so him being a waste of space is not his fault its his heritage.

the seals should have thier own song, im assuming its just dice's laziness. thier track record on music for me isnt the greatest so maybe they saved us some irritation.

Being an EX-SEAL, (Honorable Discharge in 1989), I am currently a liason here at CenCom. But,  I find that they should have a SEAL theme playing on SF.
I lost my Father and Brother on 9/11 in Tower 2 , 72nd floor, and I have respect for ALL of OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS touring in Iraq and Afganistan hunting down the FUCKTARDS and shoving anything they can RIGHT UP THE FUCKING ASSES!!!!
This game is a sort of VALVE RELEASE for me and keeps me entertained when i start feeling depressed. I think of Al Queda and even though my stats sucking BIG time i look at the enimy and just lay down the HOT LEAD and pretend they squirm as the lead penitrates their camel shit body.
The Hardest day for me is yesterday. I salute ALL Active amd reserves doing their tour all over the world.............WHOOOOYAH
