Everyone is going to say go for the Samsung, but I would say go for the LG.

The cheaper one. Same specs, but $. You even have the same warranty.

Samsung screens are great but poorly manufactured. LG-Philips has the best lcd matrix.

The old non-Pebble Samsung BW screens did have a panelling issue- a lot of screens were manufactured with very poor quality pictures, color representation, viewing angles etc. However this is very much an old criticism of Samsung that still (sadly) overshadows them. All of their newer monitors have better build qualities, are of a consistently higher-standard, and offer a fantastic price:quality ratio.

LG sucks. I have an LG TV and every once and awhile a huge black box comes up and covers a quarter of the screen.

Samsung.

Yes. I have the 20" and its fabulous. It looks okay in pictures, but in real life its very very nice.

Excellent screen. Would recommend to anyone.

Although... get the 20", not the 22" because the resolution is the same and the 22" is stretched. Better image on the 20".

bhuuurrr stretched sounds bad ....i hear the pebble has a tn panel so its no good for watchin at an angle....dont suppose anyone knows how to gt an s panel 22" bw .....i want one so baddd...i would buy a 20" if i hadnt set my mind on a 22"...for high res gaming.

High res gaming? Did you read my post mate?
22" has the SAME resolution as a 20". It's just a stretched screen. You will get no performance difference one 22" than on a 20". They are exactly the same.

yeah..but I have a 22"

22" is great if the games support 16:10 aspect ratio and if you can afford it

Not stretched, just bigger pixels.

....
22" = 20"

Look at the resolution. Aspect ratio is the same.

1680x1050 = 1680x1050

There is no advantage to a 22"

which one did u go for airwolf...i saw ur thread earlier ...an im basically im going on wat was said in tht one? does the screen looked stretched when using basic windows programs like media player etc as Zimmer has said (above)....and can u comment on watching it at different angles etc..because appaz it isnt so good?

im definitely thinkin the pebble, seen as there are no panel issues....saw the 22 pebble in currys today and it looked excellent but it wasnt turned on or hooked up to anythin ..

Two inches is absolutely nothing. For the extra expense its pointless.
