Yeah, the Germans are probably pissed that they don't get blood and gore because they are stuck with the TF2 Low Violence restriction.

However, I want it. I really want to see duckies, burgers, and springs when I blow up (and I do it often). Have any of you successfully modded TF2 to get the comedic body parts that are part of the Low Violence mode? If so, what did you use?

I was a bit confused in the beginning but I really like it now. It's funny to see a sentry gun converting 2 heavies into 2 dozen burgers. That's recycling!

Did anyone find a solution for this? I had to reinstall my computer and now my TF2 is filled with blood and the game isn't half as funny as it used to be. I want my censored version back!

I don't know if you can use them, but open your console ingame and type

find violence

you'll get a list of violence commands, enter them one by one followed by a 1. I can't remember them but let's say one of the commands is sv_bloodandgutseverywhere, then you enter

sv_bloodandgutseverywhere 1

With "i'm not sure if you can use them" I was referring to the German violenceblock, btw.

DSL, use "find violence" to find the appropriate commands and enter them followed by a 0 to disable the violence. But, it won't increase performance at all.

unlock your pipelines dude. the 6800 series was beast at that.

Ah, the good ol' days of caring about pixel pipelines. I had to unlock my ati 9800se from 4 to 8 pipelines back then, made a hell of a lot of difference. If you can do it, DSL, you should.

Thanks! I tried some settings for vioelence_hblood and can get rid of the blood and limbs but I can't get the rubberducks etc. back.

I found on another forum, that other german players encounter the same problem so it might be a valve bug that they switched us germans to the uncensored version.
