holy shit mason.   this gets me pretty fucking pissed.  Thanks for giving me more reason to stay away from the private sector and more reason to know how fucking ate up these security contractors are.  Ive been CSed on 1, 2 or 5 occasions for training. More than enough times to hate the shit.  Anyone in the Army and the Marines has been CSed.  Like Ive always said.  Security Contractors are bunk.  Over rated and over paid.   They do the same tasks as soldiers do but with a fraction of the time, equipment and authority, with a much higher salary.  bodunk civilians

And yes, CS gas is such a difficult item to be allowed to use, its never an option.  Least not for grunts.   More of an MP thing.



In the Army, we called being CSed, getting slimed.




and security contractors still have to bow down to the US military in theater.

Isnt it about time Blackwater was fired? Ive heard about as many reports of "accidents"/problems with them as with the US army, and if im correct the number of US soldiers over there is about 10x greater?

Basically Blackwater has a 10x ratio of accidents and problems than any other force over there and whats worse is that they are not held accountable, unlike the soldiers.

What the hell is with Blackwater and that other group (KRB or something)? I hear nothing but bad stuff about them. Why are they still there? They sound more like criminals than security contractors.

-This CS gas incident

-Shooting at US troops

-Taking over US military checkpoints

-Doing something like arresting US troops (or rather, aiming guns at them while they're on the ground) for who knows what reason

-Civilian shootings

-This one particularly stuck out to me... KBR or whatever... this lady got raped by some workers of KBR and she's trying to sue them, but the company claims that her contract doesn't let her... by that logic she should exact some vigilante justice and not get in trouble for it

Throw 'em out. Let the REAL military do their damn job without being disrupted by these tools.

KBR.   Lot more than those two.   I could think a couple that I worked with.  Dynacorp were the ones I saw the most.  They handle a lot of high profile contracts.   Ya know, I saw a buddy of mine from my company who got out the army in 2002 out in the middle of Bum Fuck Iraq.   Outside Tarmiya.  He was in an armored surburban and I was in a Bradley.   He recognized the bumper number and we all had a kick out it.  It was his old platoon he bumped into.   Really eerie almost.   He was a security contractor working for the iraqi govt guarding oil refineries.

gunslinger what's your perspective on pvt contractors in Iraq, in terms of their authority/right to even be there/etc??

Ive done Gas Training, that CS gas is fucking gay, don't want to even imagine been hit buy it with out a mask in a room...

we use the AT-4 in basic as well as the m203 and grenades. They gave us a claymore class but it was really just an introduction.

Cool, So is that for Basic Inf training or Basic Army training in General? Like we have Recruit training were you learn F88 & F89 (Styer & Minimi) and then you do Corp specific training for us only Inf lean that shit, is it like that over there?

im pretty sure its basic soldier tasks.   But i was an Infantryman, we train separately from the POGies.

a lot of them are prior service.  but they think their padded resume is going to keep haji from shooting em.  haji dont give a fuck if you are a delta force super secret commando assassin ninja.
