the bad weather argument they gave is total bullcrap
obviously something went wrong when they were sent up forward, someone didn't tell the others those two were going.

In most cases when friendly fire occurs it's miscommunication, not weather. They shot the two soldiers, and afterwards they shot 2 afghan men trying to help out the two guys. For the two shot soldiers they gave a bad weather argument whereas the argument for shooting the afghan policemen was that they weren't wearing dutch uniforms.
Doesn't that imply they could see the uniforms of the dutch people but shot them anyway? If they can distinguish the afghan policemen with bad weather at exactly the same distance, and somehow can't see that the other two were wearing the dutch uniforms something is wrong in their reasoning.
Miscommunication, I'm almost certainly sure about that, not weather.
