I got jacked out of 2,500 on eBay after the guy protested with PayPal and won. It was a clusterfuck and I'm about done with that whole system. 10 years on eBay, no problems ever, and then I get straight boned by a crook.

I'm not following, what in that screenshot makes it obviously a scam to you? Looks normal to me

I get a steady flow of Phishing email from "Paypal" and "Ebay."
The thing that upsets me, is that they have to have gotten their information FROM Ebay as it usually has my Home Address on it, and it IS the home address I have on Ebay... And I only lived there a year, and that was 10 years ago... Yet these spam/phishing/attack emails from a fake Ebay and a fake Paypal show that address.

I did a search in my spam filter and found some:

I've never used eBay or PayPal. What's the scam that I'm seeing here?
They tried to fake an e-mail from PayPal to me saying I'd received payment when I hadn't, if you look at the e-mail address it's "@email.com" therefore fake and also the font of the e-mail is wrong. Add to the fact that PayPal don't actually send out e-mails when you buy stuff and the fact that the money wasn't actually in my PayPal account and you can quite obviously see that he was trying to scam me.
