Well, if you are talking about KA-50 than it does have a gun. It is similar to that on Mi-28, but mounted under right engine and can fire forward in limited angle.

The KA-50 Shark, yeah that is the chopper I am talking about, but I don't see the gun hope they add it for the next special forces patch.
Edit: instead of hind for russians this would be better after all, the hind was replaced by the mi-28.

It's easy and I'm flying mostly alone and using TV missile at the same time (and I'm one of thise idiots who don't pick up anybody because I can make better stats while flying alone than with noob gunner/pilot in 32 player maps). Just fly as you normaly fly (well I don't know if you are crap pilot, but fly as good pilot fly) and then imagine that you are giving shot for gunner that you don't have, but aim to left from target (from far distace, which are always better, it's not so necessary) and then press F2 (which switch you to gunner place) and after press mouse quickly (as fast as you can) mouse 2nd button and then shoot your TV missile as normal. Remember keep your chopper in good balance before you switch to gunner so chopper start spinning up. Chopper won't crash as long as your chopper is well balanced but it will start spinning clockwise and going up (not down as many are thinking). After that press F1 so you will be pilot again and do same again for another target. Of course you must hit with every TV missile or this trick is kinda useless but good pilot is almost always better without pilot than with pilot. Oh and I almost forgot that when you are gunner and there's no pilot, those AA guns won't take lock-on and it's big advantage for that pro pilot. It's maybe not so realistic but it's damn lethal, sure there's no MG in use while flying alone but it's not so big thing as long as you can shoot with infantry with rockets. And all top clans use this "trick" in matches because that gunner is useless in those matches.
Cos of the pathetic gunners that my brother comes across in servers he flies on his own whenever possible. Most of the time when I've seen him flying the dumbass gunner doesn't even know that there are TV guided missiles so instead of taking a gunner my bro does both. He takes out armoured vehicles with the normal rockets and when he engages the enemy chopper at long range he uses the TV guided missile to such deadly precision that he's been accused of hacking.
And when he gets the enemy chopper down it stays down till uses up all the TV guided missiles! Even wankers in AA guns don't last long once spotted cos he either uses the regular rockets and swoops down to destroy the AA gun OR he swaps seats and uses the machine gun to blow the pesky git away. In fact he does a better job than most choppers manned by 2 people.
