BF2S Forums Racist Australia and Japanese whaling

The video compares the Japanese whalers "researchers" , to those Australians that cull wild Dingos which attack livestock such as sheep and chickens.

There is a difference.

I'm not going to defend whales because they are "cute" - that is such a bullshit line thrown around. And I don't think that anyway. My main objection to the Japanese actions, is that they can call what they do scientifically based research.

The basis of any scientific study is to be as unintrusive upon the subject matter as possible. Killing 1000's of whales for scientific research to gather tissue samples goes against that very cause. (prime directive lol)

Working in research science, most scientists will tell you that you need to publish an article in some sort of journal during/after you are doing research. I dont believe the whalers have published in any scientific journals yet! What are their findings?The only research they do is "How many whales can I fit into this boat?".

The video is just a cheap shot at us because we are taking a stand against it. The federal court has also made whaling illegal in the Australian antartic waters too , so they are getting worried.

I have a lot of respect for the Japanese people but one thing I've never seen from them is a logical political argument.

Vegetarian propaganda taking advantage of a political incident to covertly push the vegetarian agenda.  Nothing more.  And the Japanese are more racist than Australians, just its harder to pick up on Japanese racism because of the whole language thing.

Dingos are pests, whales are not.  And besides, Kangaroo meat is fucken yum!

Also, Australia is killing animals in its own territory.  Japan, on the other hand, is killing animals in the Antarctic territorial claims of other countries on what is almost the other side of the world.

I've heard Australia is claiming an EEZ (exclusive economic zone) inside its Antarctic claim.  I hope this claim succeeds, because then there will be precedent for us and other nations to follow suite and have every right to bomb any Jap boats which sail halfway round the world to kill whales within OTHER NATIONS TERRITORIES.

Incidently, the Japs are claiming they didn't tie up the protestors whom they captured...have a look at this photo:

Eating whale meat is dropping off in Japan, so they are having problems.

Dingoes and kangaroos are feral vermin, carry disease and dingoes attack cattle, etc. Dingoes = coyotes for the US. Try telling a US rancher he shouldn't be shooting them. Kangaroo herds grow to plague proportions at times, and need to be culled, otherwise they destroy the landscape by eating everything and wear on soil. Anyone licenced to shoot dingoes or roos (and you have to have a licence to shoot them legally) has to do it "humanely", i.e. clean kill, no suffering. Which is a damn sight better than getting an explosive headed harpoon in the ass, dragged onto a boat, and chopped up by the Japs.

I'm waiting for the Japs to start defending WW2 as us misunderstanding their cultural need to conquer Asia .....

And the Sea Shepherd morons on that boat? What did they expect, jumping on a boat like that? The Japs should have thrown them overboard and sailed off, leaving them to climb back in their Zodiac wet and frosty. Would have saved them the grief of the Sea Shepherd chumps climbing on their high horse.
