Asus download released bios 0901 that resolves the constant crashes and blue screens in BF2 due to this combination, thank God! So frustrating to crash every round or several times per round...

I know there is a few people on google with identical problems as I had so if you are one of them, here is your answer.

Any idea if it's as bad for OCing as all the other BIOS's except of the original?

There has been no change to the bios other then enhancing the X-fi capability, so if you unfortunately had poor performance, most likely it will remain so.

My 2.4 Ghz@3.475 Ghz e6600 is rock solid stable on 3.75V core. Memory is stable but not highly overclocked. If you are pushing for 3.6GHz on air then I don't know; I don't see a need for that high core speed with GPU bound games these days. Cost on Vcore and temperature is too high for 1-2 FPS.

So I guess, if you are overclocking but not extremely so, then it is fine, but if you are trying to burn the fucker to the ground, then I wouldn't be so confident.

The problem is that I can't OC at all (not even 1MHZ) with that board and Q6600 with any other BIOS than the original.
I belive max had the same issue with his setup.
