Umm, yeah, today when I was mufflin' around with stuff, I put my ear next to my tablet whiles reaching for an USB port.

I noticed that it was making a rather high-pitched beeping noise. Not very loud, and it works flawlessly, but I'm a bit worried if it's gonna break (I waited TWO MONTHS for this damn thing to arrive!) and I should RMA it or something...

So, could anyone with a Wacom Bamboo tablet listen to it and tell me if it's making... Noises? Thanks.
The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Meh, same thing, basically. Based on the same technology.

Since the tablet has to radiate power to whatever pointing tools hovering above it, I'm not too surprised that it makes noises. Just wanted to make sure that other tablets does the same.
