I went to the mall today to buy a Columbus Blue Jackets sweatshirt. Even though I still have no clue about hockey, and think the league is terribly mismanaged, I still watch it and have season tickets.

My question is, why is NHL stuff more expensive? I swear the NFL and NBA stuff was at least 10-20% cheaper.

Because the NHL's less popular than the other 3 sports. Not a lot of supply. Plus, the jerseys are thicker and more advanced than Basketball, Baseball and Football jersies.

I'm an Islanders fan and I just bought a personalized jersey for 175 bucks last month. A replica, at that. Personalized NFL jerseys are like...80?

probably because it is lower demand? What was the price? I could compare to the same thing here, where it is higher demand than football and basketball, etc.

Generally means getting the bad end of a deal. Or getting something for way more than it should be. UD kinda fucked up on the defintion but it was the best i could find. Trust me I used it in the correct way.

I think it's because hockey markets to richer market. I went to hockey game and guys were dressed in suits, wtf? And the ladies looked semi formal. Oh, and it's becasue hockey is a white man's sport and the white man can afford more. Not hating, just saying.
