My friend is in the same class as me and he is making a quiz-type program. For some questions, the user will type in answers with more than one word. He is wondering if visual basic 2005 has a feature to search text entered in text boxes for key words that he can use to tell if the user is correct. He has tried posting this question on actual help forums but they all suck and told me to post it on here cause he saw how awesome bf2s was with translating . thanks

If he doesn't have to specifically check typed answers he would be far better to just use radio buttons and check boxes to answer multiple choice questions.

It can be done, but checking answers like that would probably take a bit of time to write.

What language is your friend coding this quiz program in? Are you using a database to store the questions and answers?

hes using visual basics 2005 - windows programs.  he is using text files to store the questions, still deciding on the way to do answers.

edit: i also need to import/read the text files i am making for the languages, which i am unsure of how to do it.  My teacher is out with hernia and he usually helps us with these problems because he fails to teach us them, but now our sub can't help and we are stuck
