i've served for 9 months with the panzergrenadiere (mechanized infantry). was a lot of fun, i loved going crazy on that MG3. also, i was lucky to get to shoot the MILAN, an anti-tank weapon. its pretty old now, but still fun to use. ill post some pics if i still find them.

oh, and talking about pranks on "shitheads": we once used duck tape and taped this guy to his bed while he was sleeping, i still dont know why he didnt wake up, cuz we werent quiet while we did that at all. anyway, drill instructor didnt find that too funny at first, so we went for a 10km run, but once we returned to the barracks we got play soccer for 3 hours....maybe he realized that it was infact funny

Classes and random military stuff...

One of my funniest memories is from MOUT training, when another guy an I used an improvised "riot shield" out of a metal folding-chair. We had to rescue a hostage from a village in the scenario, and the OpFor was holed up in the last building. They had an effective crossfire on the front door, and our simulated flash-bangs were largely ignored...that's what we learned watching the first fire team get gunned down... Eventually, my buddy and I grabbed a folding-chair to assist our entry. We lead the way for the next fire team, and secured the hostage after taking out the OpFor guys inside.
Stupid, unrealistic, and really funny, imo...but hey, improvise, adapt, and overcome.

I said that because of judging by your remarks and comments, you would be tied to the ceiling with ducktape on your first night. Especially the babykiller remark could add alot to that.

As for your question; our troops are equipped and trained in a good manner, we contribute to ISAF in afghanistan, and you would be wise to pay just even a little bit of respect to the coalition forces there.
