Absinthe didn't, but it had this nasty, nasty pre-taste of aniseed. Mixing it with pepsi didn't help.

Anyhoo, on to my favorite subject. There's a large variety of absinthe out there. Some of thos anis versions are horrible and some quite good. For example absinthe made in the Czech tastes more like Artemisia absinthium, the way I personally like it. Pernod Absinthe from France has a lot of anis, and that one is pretty nice. Best one I've had so far is Staroplzenecký from Plzen Czech. The taste is strong and it lasts a while so you can just relax and enjoy it.
Smoking is stupid and a waste on money (tbh if poor people didn't smoke, they wouldn't be poor), drugs the same, and I'm too young to drink alcohol and not immature enough to think its cool to get wasted.
