Shit. TBH.
http://apnews.myway.com/article/20080119/D8U96J8G1.html
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton won the Nevada caucuses Saturday, powering past Barack Obama in a hard-fought race marred by last-minute charges of dirty politics. Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney easily won the Republican contest.

The victory marked a second-straight campaign triumph for the former first lady, who gained an upset victory over Obama in last week's New Hampshire primary.

Clinton was gaining roughly half the vote in a three-way Democratic race, with Obama at about 45 percent and former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards placing a distant third.

Get the hell out of the race. Your fucking up Obama's Chi.

I groaned when I saw that. Looks like you guys are set for at least another 4 years of misery. I guess I'll see you all in Canada.

EDIT: Still, let's hope like fuck something goes right on Feb 5th.

Honestly it doesn't matter who is elected President where I live.  The big government doesn't care about my state.

McCain wins SC. Every GOP winner of SC since 1980 has gone on to be the nominee.

McCain vs Clinton = McCain wins.

Edwards withdraws. Obama v McCain. Obama wins. Hopefully.

Obama vs McCain is my ideal election. I'd love for either to win.

McCain is a horrible debater (He has actually been booed already). If he gets the GOP nod he will get destroyed in the presidential debates.

I agree that if Obama gets the nomination, it will be close, either way. If Clinton gets it (and McCain is the Rep nom), it will be a clear Republican victory.

I think that McCain has enough centrist positions on key topics that he will get some votes that otherwise would go to the Dem candidate. Diehard right-wingers will not vote for the Democrat candidate, regardless of who they are. They will vote for McCain...albeit while holding their nose, but they will vote for him.

He loses the conservative votes with his border policy though.

I think it's because no one really sees Ron Paul as an actual candidate for the Republican Party.  I'm sure the Republican Party itself would rather have someone like Mitt or even Rudy.

Why is he not a realistic candidate?  If he werent so realistic he wouldnt be gathering such a strong base of followers despite being sidelined by the media.  His campaign is having trouble spending all his money, while Rudy's cant afford to pay its staff.  I dont think those are signs that a candidate is unrealistic.

It's obvious as hell the usual suspects have once again offered up anointed candidates.

I can't fucking believe people are excited about McCain, Hillary.
No, I can, because we are a bunch of stupid blind sheep.

Its still progress on his earlier results, and shows that his support is still growing.

I appreciate your optimism.  But do not gauge the elections off of Nevada.  That place is........weird.
