I'm ordering a new computer without windows, can i use windows installation CD's that i got from DELL to install it on my new computer?

Possibly, but likely not, I attempted to use my moms HP "Restore" Disks to put Vista on my computer, but it refused to activate and told me that I don't have eithee proper hardware configuration, and it was some sort of standard Vista disk, not the kind that puts bloadware on your computer.
My suggestion, try it, but be prepared to get get yourself a new disk.

won't it try to install stuff like drivers etc. on hardware that's different? and so fuck up?
Nope, they rip you off so you can only install it on dell pc's , you would need to buy a new copy
My Dell XP disk worked on my PC... Don't see why not yours won't. Does it have a CD key though?
