Taraba can be fun, just needs balanced teams with decent pilots or the ground crews just get raped

I was on a AF server on Rage earlier, was well on track for the 100...Cablecopulate joined just before the madness started though...

Basically an admin came in and banned 2 guys from the opposite team for baseraping.
This left about 8 guys in, 3 idlers included. I suggested he shouldn't kick everyone or we would have an empty server.
He then banned a guy from our side for baserape, even though the rules said it was allowed if we 'owned the board'.
I switched to balance the teams, and said to Cablecopulate that the server wasn't gonna last long...strangely enough he said the same thing on VOIP as I typed it
Next thing I know I'm getting banned too just for asking him not to empty the server...lmao...

Total Warfare Gamers was the server name I think. After I left it must have been 6 players, including 3 idle....

Anderson, I asked the admin and he denied kicking you. That server was BS so I left after you got booted. I joined that server because one of my e-friends was on the server and you just happened to be there.

Read this a few days ago and thought what the hell, I have had all the awards for almost a year and haven't had much to try and accomplish. Seeing as I was only three maps short I gave it a go. Three days later.... Op road rage , taraba , and highway tampa completed. Just finished a 104 taraba round and stats haven't updated yet but finally did it. Thanks for the post nice to have had something else to strive for! On a side note ran into anderson a few times while he was trying to get op road rage... Oh and man my kdr suffered when all i was trying to do was get points but oh well.... I think in another post you said you're not much of a chopper person. So the best way to do it, will be to grab a jeep and keep capping flags. Play a kit where you can get lots of team points on the side. Ammo is always needed on that map. 15 players or so will be best. I've never seen someone score 100 on a 64 player server that was close to or actually full. The map is one of the harder maps to score 100 on. I've only done it a handful of times myself.

Yup, that's what I'm trying to do now...wierdly enough I joined a server last night where 2 guys on the other team had 150 and 200 points!

They had very few kills, so I suspected padding, but they seemed to be fighting normally and there wasn't anyone on our team with a high score so no evidence of kidnapping...wierd.

Where they in the little bird? You can pad up your score in that thing by tossing grenades/mines/c4 over and over with a support friend flying it.

Yep, i think that's what they were doing, and looks like it was a long round too.

Will consider doing that, had a couple of good scores as a passenger in the little bird but not up to 100 yet...

Groundpounding on it is doing my head in

Without teamplay to deal with enemy tanks/jets/helos your team suffers big time.

Fly the little bird as support/squad leader with a friend as engineer. They'll keep you alive longer and can toss out stuff to get you ammo points. I've known people to get over 100 ammo points doing that.

Now I don't think I'll ever play that map again

Although it was fun pissing off the bomber-whores with the AA

Tbh I groundpounded for Smoke Screen...that map is a tricky one though.
