Why havent some of these things made it to bf2??

Movable boats

Carrier has more than 1 gun?

Sure theres more just gone blank.

Ask yourself what would happen if a noob/tard got hold of the carrier on BF2 and he could control it? Also, the carrier in BF2 is a stative model, it is made up from different parts and if it would move, it would be a lag fest (read: titan on BF2142).

Take Wake Island, if the carrier was movable then it would just get moved to right behind the China airfield and the CIWS guns would completely rape it and China would be even more fucked that the US is now. On Dalian and Oman the effects would not be as greatly but you still would have the CIWS guns preventing MEC/China from getting half of the flags.

But battlefield 2 is a game and not a real life simulator, a game is supposed to be fun and having an uncappable mobile flag(carrier) dominate half the map and tear up anything that comes into view would make it unbalanced thus resulting in an unfair non fun game and no one would play it, and can you imagine the amount of redlining that would take place on a mobile carrier.

Except that I held off a defgun from sinking the Fletcher off Omaha Beach for like 10 minutes just suiciding and repairing with nothing but a wrench, yes, that'd make it totally balanced.
