Unlock noob, have you ever heard that before? I really hate those high ranked players that only play infantry on karkand in mec as medics, they always whine about unlocks noobs. but what the heck is wrong with those unlocks? I prefer to use unlocks, how about you guys?

Yes, of course!
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.
What's wrong with unlocks? Almost all players that whine about unlocks is using AK-101 on karkand and that weapon is way to powerful imo..Sup wrote:

Ye, DAO-12/M95.
Edit: On vehicle servers, on Karkand I don't use any unlocks ofcourse.

Null; depends on the kit. I rarely use unlocks, but that's out of preference, not because I think unlocks are for noobs. If you've spent the time getting them, why not use them?
omg, how many times was this question asked?
Anyway, yes
Anyway, yes
Unlocks are more powerful and more accurate (some anyway). They are for noobs to have a chance vs clan guys.
Compare the M16 to the G36E, or AK101 for that matter. Way more accurate and drops guys quicker. The unlocks are more powerful, so IMO they are for noobs.

Hey man, was playing on yur server last night. Cheers!!steelie34 wrote:
who cares. if u kill someone and they call you an unlock noob. teabag the shit out them, kill them again, and teabag again. they're the noob if they couldn't kill u first. only problem is that the stock weps are better than the unlocks anyway.
PS - Unlocks are more powerful. Your probably just better with the norm weopons from using them more often, not sure why you wouldnt think unlocks are more powerful.
Well in theory unlocks are for smarter, not better, players. I mean, it's pretty dumb using the M16 if you can use the G36e, though, if you can do the same with the M16 you are compared to the G36e user a better player.PluggedValve wrote:

Also, take as example the M95, it has more possibilities than the M24, so if you use the M95 for shooting people out of choppers it's not noob, you just use what suits best.
The unlock I use the most is the P90 and L96A1, even then I don't use it that much.
Others I rarely use are the PKM, G36C.
I'm better/have more fun with the non-unlocks, my stats says so...

elmo makes a good point. i guess it depends on the army and the kit. for assault, i almost never use the unlocks unless i wanna flashbang people. for medic, i cant use the m16, i prefer the l85 for US, but the AK for mec or china. sniping with the m95 does give an advantage against helis/planes, but i usually prefer a semi-auto vs. a bolt. the default engi guns are more suited to my play style than the peashooter. for AT, the DAO is cool, but the pp-19 works if im that army. spec ops, i like the g36c. cant pass up the accuracy. support, default guns no matter what army. high rof > damage for me at least.
Or maybe its for variety, you know, instead of using the same gun all the fucking time.PluggedValve wrote:

I use them when I feel like. End of.
I don't use unlocks very often. I used to use the g36e a lot, but just so that I would always have the same gun regardless of what army I was on. If I am sniper (rarely) I use the m95 to use it against enemy choppers. I never use the dao because I am horrible with that. I have probably not gotten 5 kills with it since I unlocked it forever ago. Sometimes I use unlocks for support. It really depends on what sound I want to hear. I don't see anything wrong with using unlocks other than people decided it wasn't the cool thing to do, personally I don't give a shit.
I'm a 3 star. I use unlocks, no biggy. Don't mind how anyone plays the game really, as long as they:
1 Don't cheat/glitch.
2 Play fair...I.e Don't bunnyhop under fire.
Surely saying to NOT use unlocks is paramount to NOT using vehicles in vehicle servers!

unlocks are fine, and for the most part they are balanced except for the G36E,which is just lame.
edit:there is nothing wrong with bunny hopping.it's your fault if you can't hit a moving target.

bunnyhopping is essential to maintaining a healthy kdr. take two bunnyhops before going prone in the morning and you'll see the clouds less (<- getting drunker)daddyofdeath wrote:

nah. i'm so used to the stock weapons, and i like them more.
I agree w/ 1. But 2 is fair. Your not using a glitch or cheat its skill to learn how to bunny-hop the correct way. Bunnyhopping just jumping up around etc is the one I hate. But if you combine it w/ prone and crouch its good. Well not skill but still, you won't last too long in CAL or w/e without it.daddyofdeath wrote:

Anyways unlocks sure they're cool some I'll use. But I seriously hate some *cough*G36E*cough*. Otherwise they're ok.
I use the L85A1 regardless of what side I'm on.
If i've played the game for x amount of hours + points, why the fuck shouldn't i use the guns?
O yeah, thats right, some little fucked up 15yr old "l33ts" said its "n00b" to do that.
Wow, i'm going to listen to some little geek who sits behind the computer all day.
No thanks, i think i'll stick to using the Scar-L
