I was working today and suddenly the news woman says they have spotted something on mars, so i decided to look around and found this..

It's probably just an oddly shaped rock or a shadow of something. And how can you be sure that someone didnt just make the picture in photoshop, it's not very hard to do.

Haha, there is a little green man contemplating his future on a rock. I wonder what he is pondering? Maybe he is just bitter at the amount of Martian desert he needs to walk across to get to the Martian whorehouse.

That picture is fake. As for 'life' on Mars, who knows? Most likely not, but there is a chance. The probability that 'life' will look, act, talk, or be made up of the same stuff as humans is ridiculously small.

Mars actually isn't the best bet for life, I used to follow astronomy like it was going out of fashion.

There's a lot unexplored in our own solar system. I think it's a moon called IO or something like that, A Jupiter moon that is our best chance of life thus far. Or it might of been a Uranus moon.

Point is although Mars is closest to our planet and is warmer than the real planets, it doesn't mean it's the only one capable of life.

I was just having this conversation with a friend and my opinion is thus:-
Oh yes, I saw that. Instant insane reaction by nutters - "OMG! It looks vaguely human and simply MUST be a martian! It doesn't matter that it's caught between two rocks because IT'S A MARTIAN!!!" Yes, as if Martians are going to be bi-pedal/humanoid... especially on Mars, for fuck's sake! The low gravity compared to Mars would probably not be best suited to a bipedal organism and instead favour an organism with many legs. Also, with the overwhelming CO2 concentration in the atmosphere I fear that being able to sustain life on Mars would require such radically different organs or more plant-based life that if life were on Mars, it would almost certainly not take a humanoid layout to survive best.

They've found evidence that Mars went through a catastrophic change of water conditions, virtually proving the planet's dead.
