so it was working fine this morning, but now when i try to play a cd, it will only play it on shuffle; it wont play the songs in order. any ideas?

I find bashing my ipod against the wall a couple of times usually makes it do whatever I want. Pretty much a "stop shuffling, or you can eat the wall some more" situation.
You have a touch right? When your playing a song, tap the screen. A seek bar will come up, and there will be two buttons: one for repeat and one for shuffle.
