Alright, I have a buddy that wants to play TF2, problem being his comp is the absolute shits.  If he were to create a steam account and purchase TF2, could he come over to my place and play on my other machine that can support the game, and we could play simultaneously online out of the same internet connection?  There wouldn't be any connectivity problems or server issues?  My apologies if it's a stupid question, but he'd like to know for sure before dropping the $30 on the game.

Thanks.

If it's a different account name, then it should be fine.... My roommate and I share an internet connection, and we've played TF2 together....

Yeah, completely different steamID, second copy of the game will be purchased.  Thanks for the tip.

Que?

My brother and I tried to put the Orange Box on two Steam accounts. Doesnt work. Also, I dont think you'd be able to... dunno.
Im just sure that you should'nt be able to install on 2 accounts.

We're not trying to both play off the same copy, he's going to buy his own.
