Is that the same as physical therapy? then it'll probably hurt depending on what it's for.
I've been on physio for around 5 years, the treatment varies greatly depending on injury. The initial assessments can be a bit sore, but tolerable.

Any physical therapy to get a part of your body working properly again is going to hurt. With it being your lower back ... that's probably going to hurt like shit.
