Your missles shouldn't dodge if they aren't turning/flaring. Personally it's how I kill j10s, wait untill they go to refuel and they go straight and slow down a bit, switch to missle mode and spam my fire key as quickly as possible, most of the time the pilot doesn't have enough time to do ANYTHING at all. The jet is usually dead within half a second of me shooting.

Spam missles without lock, it's how j10s are supposed to be killed.

The game can be random and frustrating at times, but put in the practice and that shouldn't be a problem.


I strongly suggest you check out the jet guide on the wiki. Good hints and videos to help you get started.

Some basic tips -

1. Watch your back! Set your view keys to something useful, you don't want to press C x5 just to look behind then forward again. I set Q to reverse view and space to cockpit view. When dogfighting I spend as much time as possible in reverse view (just make sure to maintain your altitude ).

2. Turn hard and fast. You say you dodge about and still get hit...try longer turns. Any change in direction makes you an easier target.

3. Use flares effectively. Save them for when the missiles are chasing you; again, use rear view to check this. Then the idea is to keep the flares between you and the missiles/enemy jet for as long as possible. Plenty of tips about how to do this out there; just remember flares aren't 'fire and forget'...if you keep going straight they will fall away from you and give you little to no cover.

The Nooooooooo kid. Always one of the worst players on your team this kids natural defense to sucking balls is to just say NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO every 5 seconds, which also seems to be his average life span. This kid complains like his mom is sending him to bed early or something. It's like clockwork watching him take a bullet to the head and as his character falls lifelessly to the ground all you hear is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Possibly the funniest thing i've ever heard is an 8 yr old get headshot and blurt out "OH NOOOOOOO". I mean, how fucking hysterical is killing an 8 yr old? ..............besides very.

Huh? "Oh no"? I have no idea what you are talking about. I don't think I've ever said those words while playing this game. I'll say "oh no" if a condom breaks, not if I get shot in the game. I'll usually curse for that.
