stick in your CD, install. If there are any problems with activation (which there shouldn't be) just call MS, tell them that you had to reformat, that it's only installed on one PC and they'll give you an activation code
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Tbh, I wouldn't like to talk to the MS people. They can't understand you. Have fun, Maurer.

Vista is easy to reinstall- no CLI crap like there was with XP, you keep your mouse with you the whole way through.

From memory (1 month ago )..........

First screen click continue, 2nd screen select clean install, 3rd screen, click the drive / partition that houses the broken vista partition, hit advanced, and format. Then ensure the drive is still selected when you press next.

Oh yeah.... and somewhere it asks for a key, but it might not in OEM.

Seriously, its easy, GL, HF and see you on the other side (we have cookies)
