Why the hell are the only coming out with Indiana Jones sets now for the new (probably crappy) movie. I had to mix and match heads to make my own Indy.

And look at them! They're awesome!

Dude, have you looked at the Star Wars stuff on that site? These are not the LEGO creations that I have played with. They've changed! My world is literally falling in shambles around me. My X Wing, Y Wing and Naboo fighter are the simpler versions, not this new crap. And look at the new Trade Federation MTT, it kicks ass on mine! I WANT! I WANT! I WANT!

The best thing a kid could have. I still have boxes of the stuff stored up the attic. I used to mix it with Matchbox cars and mechano (dunno if anyone remembers that stuff) and my Scaletrix sets. Spent hours with it all sprawled out on the floor building things. I think it made me a hell of alot more creative, you could build anything within the limits that were set and it got really really good at one point. Good times.

Whoever said something about losing instructions: You can always contact LEGO and have them send you new ones I lost one of mine when I was a kid so I got my mom to call them up, gave them the set number, paid like $2, and they mailed me a new set.

I actually hated to do that. I was always the kid that would follow the instructions exactly and would never modify anything.

Uh huh. You do realise why though right? The thread asks "Do you remember where you were?" I for one and everyone else under the age of 21 does not remember and for good reason - they didn't exist then. When a thread asks a question not everyone can relate to it doesn't get as many proper answers, however nearly everyone can relate to Lego so it does get proper answers. It's not something wrong with the forums, it's just logic.
