There will be a lunar eclipse on February twentieth.  Everything you want to know, follow this link:

Apologies to all those Aussies out there, no eclipse for you.

I remember that one, I think it was 1999 though.  In Cornwall, England it was a total eclipse, completely blotted out the sun.

Edit.

Never mind, different eclipse.

My sister was telling me about this. Here's a good blonde story:

She said about how the moon will get eclipsed soon and I asked how, and she said something about it being blocked by something. She thought this something blocking it would be Saturn.

Saturn? Quite a fucking detour it's taking from it's orbit just to block our moon

Would Saturn even fit between the space of us and the moon?

Fucking idiot.

But anyway, I may stay awake and watch it...

Nasa's website says Feb 20th, not 21st. Edit: er wait, im dumb. I realize this happens very late so it would technically be both days

Also read this:

During a total lunar eclipse, the Earth blocks the Sun's light from reaching the Moon. Astronauts on the Moon would then see the Earth completely eclipse the Sun. (They would see a bright red ring around the Earth as they watched all the sunrises and sunsets happening simultaneously around the world!)
A photo of THAT would really be amazing.
