depends on what you use your laptop for.  For me personally, battery life is more important.  I would rather be free of wires for a longer time than do a task that requires large cpu faster.  But i don't usually use my laptop for cpu intensive work, thats what my desktop is for.

I'll use it mainly for schoolwork but as snipy said you never rly upgrade a laptop so imo the t7250 may be my best option ...
