Don't know if I'm happy about the proceedings, don't really think Jack knows who the parachutist is actually.
It's all a bit too unreal. But I'll wait and see what it gives. This episode needed more Kate, Sawyer and Jin though .

I liked the episode. I don't think Jack has a clue who the guy from the helicopter is. The guy certainly doesn't know who Jack is. The Oceanic 6 probably includes the dead guy from the season finale, and who knows who that is. It was apparently someone that they didn't like but were connected very strongly too. Locke, Ben, Michael? Oceanic 6 could also include Michael and Walt but I don't think so.
i recorded the episode on my pvr but it cut the end off and it left me wondering if i missed a huge part? It stopped at the part where everyone decides who they go with and then it shows jack and kate by the fuselage of the plane that crashed in the pouring rain. Anything after that happen that was big?
They heard a helicopter and a man parachuted out, he says "Are you Jack?" and then it ended.

Actually, I was a bit let down by the premiere. But I'm shocked that only 6 of them make it off the island - or want to. Tbh I don't like the forward flashes (they worked well in "Through the Looking Glass" though).

I was hoping for something a little better, like what they were advertising, but I guess the good stuff will be later on in the season. I think the flash forwards work really well for the show, like when Hurley revealed that only 6 will make it. And it's weird: Jack and Hurley split into different groups, yet both made it off. I wonder how that will happen.
