International edition owns, I saved sooo much getting the international version whever I can. Its the exact same thing except most of them are in softcover where as the "american" version is in hardcover and because of that cost waaaay more for no good reason.
Actually im pretty good in english here. It's my last english course before university.
In Belgium (dutch part) it's:
1st Dutch, all ages get this
2nd French, age 10+
3rd official language is actually German, but in school you get English before german. English age 14+ and german age 16+
4rd English (or German, depends on how you look at it).
And then some schools also teach spanish.
(you can also learn latin and old greek of course).
At the uni you can learn all languages. Since a lot of my courses at uni were in english (I study computer science) My english is better than my french. Would have been different if the internet was mainly french

Even thinking of learning another language gives me a headache. I just can't do it. So much to learn.....it's insane, I wish I was taught more languages when I was a kid, that's when it's the easiest.

I brought 3 diff international textbooks. It was the same. Look up the definition of "International Editions Textbooks" or "low price editions textbooks" There the same book that publishers publish to other country based on their economic conditions.HurricaИe wrote:

Most time there gonna be softcover books without any CDs (if there in one regularly), and really thin paper (like bible paper). But for the price is sooo awesome. New International textbooks are less than used American textbooks.
