I believe the CD or its case had an image of some sort of 6-armed hindu god on it holding a remote control or two as well as some lighters (I think). The god was blue and the background was orange.

The song had a very pronounced piano and a guitar in it and I remember one part where it sounds like he's saying "Change, change, change!" (that could be it, I couldn't understand it) with the note on the word "change" getting higher pitched as he went on.

The song kicked a lot of ass and I want to find it. It belonged to my dad, but I think my mom threw that CD away.

The only thing I can think of regarding the Vishnu image is Pay the Man by The Offspring - obviously not an eighties song but the picture that was in the CD sleeve was Vishnu holding a cigarette, TV remote, a gun, some money... I can't remember, a bunch of things anyway.
It's a cool song but I'm pretty sure it's not the one you were thinking of.

If you have Frets on Fire, it sounds a lot like the song with the girl in it that comes with the game, the way the guitar plays in it sounds a lot like it does in the song I'm looking for.
