I was reading up on bf3 yesterday, there seems to be nothin on it other than the release to the marketer. I read it was vista only...does anyone know if vista will run on a p4?

vista will run on a p4 but not well. it's still to early to say anything about bf3, but i highly doubt it will be vista only.

Don't think there has been any official news on BF3, it was hinted somewhere they were aiming for a Dec. 2008 release, but I think that's highly unlikely...
yeah i read they were hoping to beta bf3 around summer, but that seems very unlikely
bf2 with cod4 graphics or better, cod4 hardcore mode realism, bf2 sniper (no shake), and large bf2 style maps with no fog FTW.
i'm a bit annoyed they've removed spec ops kit and anti tank kit (according to the rumours anyway)
If it's anything like 2142 the kits will be combined in such a way that you can use the strengths of 2 kits and customize them as you wish, ie...FragPuss2409 wrote:

Recon = Sniper/Specops with choice of C4, clays, sniper upgrades
Engineer = Anti-tank/Engineer with anti-tank weaponry + choice of mines or other equipment
Worked pretty well in 2142 I think!
