Is there anything I should know about it?
I'm going to do everything except for Peggle... It looks like shit

Also, any tips for TF2? I want to have an idea of what I should generally be trying to do, so I don't stop every 20 seconds ingame to figure out what the hell is going on .

EDIT: And it will be my first Steam game too... I already have the client and an account set up. How will I be 'activating' the games so to speak?

Actually, grab a cup of coffee then install. It's about 13+ gb.

Peggle is awesome.

Orange Box is definitely the win-est game this year.

As for getting the games, are you buying them at from a shop or buying them online?

If its online you just need to double click the game to get it to start downloading, if its a hard copy, it'll probably ask you at some point about steam accounts.

And at some point during install (if it's a hard copy) it will ask if you need to set up an account, or if you already have one.
