32 player servers suck. Its understandable why it is supposed to be 24.
Meh, personal opinion. 32 player servers = Chaos.kptk92 wrote:

On 32 player server playing Dustbowl, it's a bitch. Like 7/16 people go Engineers, all build sentries either in the little house near the cap or on top of the little house near the gates, and with 3 or more sentries on the little house, it's impossible to get past, even with uber.
The other 9 people all either become Demomen or Soldiers. It's horrid.
24 player servers are much different, though.
Maybe, but I find it more fun on 24Poseidon wrote:

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me
I would imagine this is mostly to hurt hackers that instantaneously hit the zoom and fire just for the crit, I really don't think 200ms will effect even quick shots.Lucien wrote:

Nerfed? did somebody say nerfed? Half of my sniper kills are from quick shots like that, so I'd thank you very much for not noobifying my best weapon, Valve.

0,4 of a second delay broke BF2. I remember how Blindfisch used to point out how such a small amount of time couldn't possibly make a difference. I also remember not getting on well with BlindfischFlaming_Maniac wrote:

That has to be the worst map i've actually played
Badlands is...okay. Not great, not horrible...okay. I'm hoping Goldrush will be better.
Agree. It's a scouts paradise.stkhoplite wrote:

I think it was a great map, much better than cp_granary, which has the same type of cp capture systems.
The one thing am looking forward to is Goldrush.

Well I thought it was pretty good! Though stalemates take aaaaaages to overcome.
And as soon as I switch to heavy they usually do.

End of my only play of cp_badlands

That map is DAMN good for batting people, too. The only other map I found was awesome at batting people was cp_bestinclass (which is probably the best map in TF2).

I prefer to Heavy on Badlands. It doesn't have any stalemate positions which is good I think.
Where in BF2, prone delay?Lucien wrote:

I'm not saying I couldn't be wrong, but I'm honestly not sure a the human brain could process what is in the sniper scope before 200ms, and any critical that your brain hadn't even registered yet isn't exactly the point of a sniper. If I'm just misjudging how quick 200ms is though, and it really means you could get a legitimate headshot in that time, bullshit change.
