The only problem is is that you have no idea how many other morons of this kind the police officer had to deal with. These kids may not have been extreme, but they were undoubtedly disrespectful and immature. If someone has to deal with so many idiot skater kids, they are at risk of exploding like that. Difference is that you didnt back talk the officers. You didnt resist the search, the ID was so he could check you dont have a criminal record as for all he knows you could be there to burn the school down. A few months back my friends and I got stopped from a game of hide and seek (yes....hide and seek) by some cops. We were playing it at our local elementary school which is apparently trespassing after a certain time at night (since there were no signs we did not know this). We got in no trouble at all. All that happened was my friends car got searched (the cop asked and he said yes since he had nothing to hide) and he took whatever I.D.'s we had on us and ran them in his car (no idea why...).
This is just fucking stupid. I have been told not to skate at places but whenever we get told to leave that's all the cop ever says.
