My mom says I can buy one game on steam today and what should it be! I haven't really got a clue whats good on steam but I'm leaning towards getting S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It's supposed to be good right?

Three Single player FPS' in the form of HL2, Ep 1 & Ep 2, a fantastic puzzler in Portal and one of the best shooters around in Team Fortress 2
