Just hope that the 40s Ustascha or Chetnik sides flare up again and start ethnic cleanising, while being funded by the Russians.

last time a part of Yugoslavia declared independence the UN sat back and watched thousands being mercilessly killed.

I personnaly think good for them! If Croatia and Bosnia are allowed (albeit after much bloodshed) then why can't Bosnia? It's not exactly doing any harm?

Though for what it's worth for all his bad points Tito did a great job at unifying 7 "regions" into the nation of Yugoslavia. I still think it should be run that way.

Just to clear something up to Alpha and ATG.

It's mostly Bosnians and "Kosovoinans" that are muslim, and of that pretty musch all of them are Sunni.

Also wasn't that Dutch peacekeepers being overrun in Bosnia? and that led to the Srebrenica masacre? Where Serbian/chetnik "soldiers" were slitting the throats of any muslim/croat at the side of a bridge over the river Drina. The people of the UN designated safe area of Gorazde a day later found hundreds of bodies, mostly friends/family/other floating down river and getting stuck in their floating electricity turbines.

Nasty stuff those certain Serbians.

Finally the time has come. I wouldnt mind if Kosovo could be merged with Albania. It has 90% Albanians so why not having them in one country. Serbia has its own trianon now. Montenegro, Kosovo and the next will be Vojvodina what should get back to Hungary as it was ours.

Kosovo does not belong to the rest of Europe's nations. It should not have to bend to the will of the rest of the states of Europe if they were to stop any independence maneuver.

Albania and Kosovo, in particular, have had serious Muslim populations for centuries. Why the sudden shock? It's their right to be of what religion they choose to be. It is not as if Islam is invading in this manner, unless we count the fall of Constantinople as a current event.

You know, just yesterday there was this dumbass politician on TV, protesting cos a municipality was selling land to Italians. I laughed at him, but now I wonder. Should we be scared of Italians moving in, and declaring Independence(forgetting for a moment that there is an Italian minority here already)?

Seeing as you're from Canada, I can understand your opinion, but here in Europe? People living under nations that they do not belong to happens all the time. They're called minorities, and where I'm form they have extra rights, like for using their language, one MP per minority, etc. Borders in Europe changed a lot in the past centuries, unlike on the American continent, so we're all kinda mixed up ya know, so there's bound to be populations living under a nation they do not belong to.

This will be the Israel of Europe i'm afraid, this just shows that if enough people immigrate into a certain area they can later claim indipendence, Israel did it in 1947 and Kosovo in 2008.
